Role at AK CASC: Staff
Mimi works as Assistant to the Director of the Scenarios Network for Alaska & Arctic Planning (SNAP) and the Alaska Climate Adaptation Science Center (AK CASC), as well as providing administrative support for the staff of SNAP, Alaska Center for Climate Assessment and Policy (ACCAP), and Joint Fire Science Consortium (JFSC).
Mimi’s specialty is being a generalist, or jack-of-all-trades, holding a BA from The Ohio State University in International Studies. She is the lifeline for day-to-day activities in the office and beyond, and her forward thinking helps with planning and supporting a cutting-edge Climate Research Network. In her life away from the office, Mimi is a full-time spouse and mom who enjoys hanging out with the family, hiking, berry picking, fishing, reading, snowmachining and skiing‚ and enjoying her Alaskan Lifestyle.
