Gabrial (Gabe) Canfield

I’m Gabe Canfield, my Inupiaq name is Kungunna, and I am from Ketchikan, now residing in Anchorage. I am the Climate Adaptation Catalyst at the Northwest Boreal Partnership and the Climate Adaptation Center. As a climate and tribal advocate, I strive to make a positive impact. My roots trace back to Wales and Nome, and I proudly carry the knowledge of fisheries from my upbringing. When I’m not working, you’ll find me fishing, backpacking, hiking, biking, or simply embracing the great outdoors.
