As the Climate Adaptation Catalyst with AK CASC and the Sustainable Southeast Partnership in Southeast Alaska, I am excited to support climate adaptation and resilience initiatives that are rooted in communities and supported by science.
I grew up in a commercial fishing family based in Juneau, Alaska, spending summers living and fishing out of a remote homestead on the southern tip of the Chilkat Peninsula. I am a guest on Lingít Aaní and honored to learn from the lands, animals, and people who live here.

For over a decade, I’ve worked in remote field sites and in communities to monitor, respond to, and share stories of climate change in Southeast Alaska. My work is informed by my experiences in fisheries, climate education, glacier research, wildlife biology, and place-based storytelling. My master’s degree is in geography from the University of British Columbia and focuses on place-based knowledge of glacier retreat and landscape change in Southeast Alaska and supporting local climate concerns through community engaged initiatives. My undergraduate degree is in biology from Carleton College.
I love harvesting wild foods with friends and family, scampering around the mountains with or without skis, fixing my sailboat, and drawing along the way. Reach out anytime, I’d love to connect!
