Landslides: Mapping, Assessment, Monitoring, Mitigating Hazards, and Funding
This session covered the various landslide monitoring efforts being conducted by Tlingit and Haida in Southeast Alaska. The session also shared what existing FEMA-funded landslide hazard mapping and assessment projects are being conducted in Southeast. Lastly, we discussed landslide funding opportunities and tips for navigating such funding calls, with specific attention on the current USGS landslide opportunity.
