Survey: Help AK CASC understand weather station use in Alaska’s National Parks

The Alaska Climate Adaptation Science Center and Alaska’s National Parks are interested in (1) better understanding who uses weather stations in and around the parks and why, and (2) learning about where people would like new weather stations.

To help answer these questions, we are asking people who live, work or recreate regularly in Alaska to participate in a survey to identify which weather stations you use, why you use those stations, and where you would like to see additional stations installed in the future. We expect the survey will take you about 20 minutes.

If you have any questions or comments about the weather stations, the survey questions, your participation in the survey, or the broader research goals please reach out to either Stephanie McAfee at , 775-784-6999 or Jamie Trammell at , 541-552-6496. If you have questions, concerns, or complaints, you can also contact the University of Nevada, Reno Social Behavioral Institutional Review Board at 775-327-2368 or via the contact form at https://www.unr.edu/research-integrity/contact.

By taking the survey you agree that:

  • You are at least 18 years old
  • You have read the information above
