Project Summary

This project will convene a statewide workshop to translate Alaska’s rapidly expanding freshwater temperature dataset into actionable tools for fisheries management. With the new statewide temperature action plan in place, the workshop will bring together managers, researchers, and data collectors to identify priority science needs and feasible decision-support projects, and will feature a keynote on real-time temperature management from Canadian salmon fisheries. The team will also explore opportunities to connect this work with ongoing AK CASC freshwater initiatives.
